Ramamurty Ayyagari
DirectorA Marine Chief Engineer with extensive experience in Shore Based Ship Management. Joined sea in 1981 and came ashore in 1992 to be part of a Ship Management Division of a prominent business group in Dubai and rose to become the Head of the Technical Activities of the group.
Ramu Panuganti
General Manager - TechnicalRamu Panuganti is a highly experienced marine engineer and business leader with a proven track record of success in ship management. His career began at sea, culminating in the rank of Chief Engineer, providing him with invaluable firsthand experience in vessel operations. Seeking to expand his skills, Ramu earned an MBA from SP Jain, equipping him with a strategic understanding of the maritime industry.
Since transitioning ashore in 2015, Ramu has excelled in ship management, rising to the position of head of ship management for a fleet of 35 vessels. His expertise spans across diverse vessel types, including dry, wet, and chemical tankers. He is particularly adept at managing dry-docking projects and has a remarkable ability to revive "dead ships," transforming them into fully operational, revenue-generating assets. Ramu's combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and hands-on experience makes him a valuable asset for optimizing vessel performance and achieving operational excellence.
Capt. Gawain Gonsalves
Operations ManagerAt Arka, he is the first point of contact for all post-fixture matters relating to the charter party and vessel operations (including vessel performance, agency, cargo operation, vessel navigation, and all other marine-related matters). He joins us with over 23 years of experience in the shipping industry which includes command of Panamax and Supramax bulk carriers. His experience in sea and on-shore will greatly contribute to safe, reliable and productive operation of S’hail’s owned and/or controlled fleet.
