Company is equipped with DOC issued by Bureau Veritas for Bulk carriers,Oil tankers, Chemical tankers and other Cargo ships.

DIRECTOR: AYYAGARI RAMAMURTY
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Marine Engineering, M.O.T First class Engineer, Member of the Institute of Marine Engineers. Associate of the "Royal Institute of Naval Architects, U.K. Member of the ABS Technical committee, and also on the middle eastern committees of Lloyds Register, DNV and NK classification societies.
A marine Chief engineer with extensive experience in shore based shipmanagement.Was CEO/Sr.General Manager of a prominent Ship Management company in DUBAI. Overall in charge and responsible to the top management for the complete Ship management activity of the Group's fleet and overall management of the New shipbuilding program comprising 42 vessels of various types and sizes, including VLCC's Aframax, MR tankers ,Capesize, Kamsarmax, Panamax and Supramax bulkers, Tugs and Barges. Have Proficiency in managing/ operating Transloaders fitted with Longitudinal/transfer and boom conveyors.
Was heading and guiding a team of Marine Technical, safety and vetting superintendents, purchasing and crew recruitment personnel. Have set up a crew recruitment and training centre at Mumbai to take care of the fleet's crew recruitment and training needs.
Have set up Shipmanagement offices at Singapore and Bangkok to meet the group's growth strategy.Responsible for technical aspects of the group's new shipbuilding programme including shortlisting of yards, setting up teams for drawing approval, construction supervision and responsible to the board for the eventual delivery of the vessels from various yards in Japan, Korea and China. Has vast experience in the management of various ship types and various nationalities and has been instrumental in the growth and diversification of the company's fleet. Has vast experience in Drydocking, repairs of vessels all over the world and Was involved in Major Conversion Projects which include conversion of Gearless bulkers into transhippers,mounting of Floating cranes on Barges, Undertaken a major conversion project from a Suezmax tanker to a Capesize bulker.
Has sailed for about 12 years in a sea going capacity from junior engineer to Chief Engineer with Barber Ship management Hong Kong and SCI, Mumbai on Bulkers, Tankers, Passenger vessels and Container ships..
DPA/CSO: Capt. NARAYANA VENKAT SUBRAMANYAM
Master Mariner with immense experience in ship management and operations and is a recent addition to Arka's team. Has sailed for almost 15 years at sea on Bulk carriers, Containers, and Reefer carriers prior to taking up a shore assignment in 2007.
In his previous employment had served as Manager (Quality and Safety) with a prominent shipping company in Singapore for almost 7 years and was DPA/CSO for over 50 vessels, which includes Car Carrier / Container / Bulk Carrier/Wood Chip Carrier and Chemical Tankers operated out of Singapore office.
Was directly involved with day-to-day activities related to Safety & Quality, including planning Internal & External Audits, arranging surveys for ISM & ISPS. Incident and Near-miss analysis. Masters Review(Monthly), Quarterly, and Annual Management Review.
TECHNICAL MANAGER: NAGESH BABU
Nagesh Babu, a Marine Engineer by profession & a First Class M.O.T. Chief Engineer has more than 25 Years of Industry Experience. He started his sea career as a junior engineer a slowly climbing up the ladder to the post of Chief Engineer..
During his sailing career, he has served on Container, Bulk Carrier, and Oil tankers of Aframax, Suezmax & VLCCs. In his Sea Career, he sailed with prominent shipping companies.
He started his shore career as a Technical superintendent with a prominent UAE-based shipping company, where he was promoted as Senior Technical superintendent.
He also has experience in doing
SIRE Pre-vetting of vessels on owners' request.
Internal Audits. Security Audits.
DOC Audits.
Pre-purchase inspection of vessels.
In Jan 2017, He joined ARKA Global Marine Services LLC in Dubai.
SENIOR TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT: RAMU PANUGANTI REDDY
A Marine Engineer by profession passed out from MASSA INTERFACE MARITIME ACADEMY with a degree in Marine Engineering. MEO CLASS 1, with Chief Engineer experience of 6 Months with Stellar Ocean Transport LLC, Started as Junior Engineer with Trans-Coastal shipping, then sailed in Gear bulk from a position of the fourth Engineer to Second Engineer.
After Having Sailing Experience on Bulker/ self Unloader and containers Ramu Panuganti decides to settle ashore to further expand his horizon & learn new skills & Joined Ocean Sparkle for the Position of Tech. Manager looking Diving (DP) vessel and three Single point Mooring at Jamnagar. During this period he was projected in charge on behalf of Ocean Sparkle for Major Shut down of chemical Single Point Mooring Floating Hoses inspection and renewal. After that, he decided to try out new areas of challenge and joined ARKA Global Marine Services LLC as a Technical Superintendent in May 2015.
Since then he has been an active member of our team & has been involved with ship management under our management.
TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT: GIRISH
He almost has 13 years of experience in the shipping industry, Marine graduate from Chidambaram Institute.
Started Shipping Carrier as Junior Engineer in 2005 and promoted to Chief Engineer in 2017 and was sailing as Chief Engineer till 2018.
He has been part of ARKA since July 2018 and has been involved with the ship management /superintendence of Containers and bulk carriers.
TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT: SRIDHAR
He almost has 17 years of experience in shipping industry.
